Welcome!
I have a warm, clear and reassuring voice, ideal for voicing
content which is aimed at listeners whose mother tongue is not
English. From Scotland originally, I have also lived in
England
for many years before coming to Sweden in November, 2007.
e-Learning
My work includes recordings
for the United Kingdom
Atomic Energy Authority internal e-Learning systems and Moneygram International
Ltd
internal agent training via e-Learning as well as a new SQL on-line course for Roughsea Database Consultancy. My voice was chosen for its
clarity and gentle pace. In many e-Learning recordings I have had to
synchronize my voice with the content displayed on screen using Cooledit, Dubit., and Camtasia .
I
am both competent and comfortable in both the IT and software
industries as I have worked as a trainer and sales
demonstrator
in this sector. In addition, I enjoy playing with my voice – especially
performing children’s
stories in bookshops. Currently I am a member of the
Stockholm Players (Sweden’s oldest English speaking theatre group) and
used to perform in plays and musicals as a hobby in the UK. I can think
on my feet and improvise!
